Essential Job Functions: 1. Serves as overall owner of nova.edu and affiliated website content, including initiating and managing process of addressing obsolete sites.
2. Manages the CMS and user permissions, and establishes client workflow approvals. Moderates and advises best practices for stakeholder-generated content, by providing input and guidance on the development of content plans for each of NSU's websites/intranets.
3. Leads in collaboration with the senior leadership team the website migration projects with an eye toward brand alignment (tone, design, typography,etc.), accessibility, SEO, and website best practices.
4. Manages the CMS and user permissions, and establishes client workflow approvals.
5. Conceptualizes, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff, including hiring, coaching, evaluating, and terminating.
6. Serves as a subject matter web expert to colleges/departments during and after migration process.
7. Provides QA for new websites, UI/UX design enhancements, mobile optimization, and page layout design.
8. Measures, evaluates, and presents ROI/ROAS dashboards and metrics to senior leadership using appropriate KPIs for web user behavior, digital paid and image advertising campaigns, Google and SiteImprove analytics, Recruit/CRM tracking, SEO tools, etc.
9. Provides reports, web analysis, and SEO optimization recommendations.
10. Monitors stakeholder-generated content and resolves issues as they arise.
11. Leads multi-phase, results-oriented, market-facing web upgrade projects with multiple internal and external team members and agencies.
12. Identifies user needs and trends, collaborates with teams to improve user experience and content management toolset.
13. Manages ongoing market-facing website enhancements which include streamlined content, optimized IA and UX, SEO best practices, and immersive storytelling.
14. Acts as a liaison between PR & Marketing Communications and OIIT, agencies, and other colleges, programs, and departments of NSU.
15. Generates new content ideas to support key topics and business objectives of NSU.
16. Suggests and implements new processes for gathering, creating, and maintaining content on all of NSU's websites.
17. Contributes to other initiatives such as email and direct marketing campaigns.
18. Conducts on-page optimizations of content with the assistance of project stakeholders and additional contractors.
19. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Marginal Job Functions:  
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, content management systems (Cascade Server preferred), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Premiere, Illustrator), and other relevant software.
2. Technical proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as OmniCMS, Cascade Server, and Wordpress.
3. Must have excellent proofreading skills and strong attention to detail.
4. Excellent project management skills and organizational ability.
5. Attention to detail and follow-through.
6. Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously.
7. Ability to work independently on long-term projects.
8. Ability to lead as well as work as part of a team.
9. Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of accomplishing goals through others and the ability to apply these principles in a business setting.
10. Proficient in Both Mac and PC Platforms.
11. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and other front-end web design programming languages.
12. Must display advanced understanding of responsive web design and how content is displayed on various computing devices.
13. Demonstrated ability to use web, digital communications, and analytics to drive business decisions and positively influence traffic toward university websites and campaigns.
14. Proficient in CRM platforms and industry best practices governing e-mail and digital communications.
15. Excellent customer service skills, ability to solve problems with customers and stakeholders and keep a positive attitude.
16. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with developers, designers, copywriters, and staff.

Required Certifications/Licensures:  
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major (if required):  
Required Experience: Eight (8) or more years relevant industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's degree in communications, information technology, or related field.
2. Expertise in web best practices, search engine optimization, and web/digital copy development and content governance.
3. Experience in public speaking, being a spokesperson, and communicating a vision for a product or service.
