Subject to Grant Funding?:   
Essential Job Functions: 1. Provides administrative support to immediate supervisor, inclusive of
scheduling, credentialing, reimbursements, and other operational tasks.

2. Responds to inquiries requiring in-depth understanding of work-area policies and
procedures and resolves problems to ensure questions are answered
and issues resolved timely.

3. Coordinates temporary employee activities within program and assists them with
daily duties and inquiries.

4. Schedules meetings/appointments/events and coordinates travel when needed.

5. Develops and maintains electronic filing systems to ensure appropriate
document retention and maintenance of required records including project data,
monthly reports and annual reports.

6. Coordinates projects and communication materials; organizes events,
conferences and meetings to ensure a professional outcome.

7. Aids in the creation of processes and forms for the department.

8. Leads the work of others to ensure efficient operations.

9. Monitors process workflows to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.

10. Suggests procedures changes and trains others regarding policies and
procedures to ensure proper documentation and communication of work
processes.

11. Enters data and generates reports from NSU systems to ensure accurate
processing and record-keeping.

12. Completes special projects as assigned.

13. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Marginal Job Functions:  
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. English language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English
language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition,
and grammar.
2. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook; database and data entry skills.
3. Ability to interpret and explain guidelines, policies, and procedures.
4. Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent organization and planning skills, including calendar and event
management.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Information gathering and monitoring skills; including the ability to prepare
reports, while maintaining confidentiality.
8. Takes initiative, is flexible, and provides great attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Possesses advanced computer skills and is able to train others.
10. Ability to assist management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations
Job Requirements: 1. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the
observer).
2. Speech Clarity - Must be able to speak clearly so others can understand you.
3. Speech Recognition - Must be able to identify and understand the speech of
another person.
4. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or
standing in performance of job duties.
5. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of
equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, and computer
keyboards
