Essential Job Functions: 1. Coordinates activities / functions within NSU as well as between NSU and external contacts to ensure efficient operations / events.
2. Provides presentations and coordinates logistics for in-person and virtual presentations.
3. Assists Title IX staff with technological support such as facilitating Zoom hearings, updating website, and developing scenarios and technology related training materials for those involved in Title IX investigations.
4. Develops content for presentations, website, and printed materials with a focus on sexual misconduct prevention.
5. Responds to inquiries requiring in-depth understanding of work-area policies and procedures and resolves complex problems to ensure questions are answered and issues resolved timely.
6. Reviews data and follows up on discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
7. Enters data and generates reports to ensure accurate processing and record-keeping.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Interprets requests, and determines action plan for important and emergency matters.
2. Interprets and follows policies, procedures and practices.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Willingness to work with diverse populations, faculty, staff, and students.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals working in other departments and divisions across the university.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to maintain an appropriate degree of confidentiality and privacy of information.
• Ability to establish a positive climate for Title IX compliance efforts.

Required Certifications/Licensures:  
Required Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education before start date.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with diverse populations.
• Enrollment in the College Student Affairs graduate program or Shepard Broad Law School at Nova Southeastern University.
• Knowledge or experience in interpersonal violence prevention or response work, public health, psychology, counseling, or communication/training facilitation.
