Essential Job Functions: | 1. Tracks and coordinates implant and related materials from vendors, obtaining product information, verifying accuracy on invoicing; resolves disputes. 2. Purchases dental implants (implant body and related parts), bone grafting regenerative materials, and a variety of membranes from multiple manufacturers. 3. Maintains accurate purchasing and disbursement records by placing product identification in CDM’s inventory software. 4. Reviews accuracy of dental implant purchases and invoices and requests/obtains approval for further processing and payment. 5. Submits quarterly reports to adjust budgeted assets and liabilities for management review. 6. Collates utilization data versus the need to purchase additional implants and related materials and advises college administrators. 7. Assists with analyzing departmental budgets. 8. Responsible for the safe storage and inventory tracking for dental implants, implant parts, membrane, and graft materials. Evaluates the security of “on hand” inventory in the clinical areas and conducts periodic audits of inventory. 9. Interacts with program directors regarding follow-through of clinical faculty and residents in submitting necessary surgical and post treatment data. 10. Informs and trains CDM administrators on the type of queries that can submitted for the purpose of clinical research and publication. 11. Coordinates the ordering, receiving, and dispensing of dental implants and parts with patients’ dental appointments for students in adherence to order guidelines and vendor contracts. 12. Maintains accurate clinical data collection, enters data into CDM’s implant management software daily. 13. Upgrades and updates tables; develops queries for clinical research and publication reports; identifies problems and troubleshoots; requests improvements to the CDM utilized software. 14. Assists CDM’s administration with providing data for budgeting and grant requests. 15. Compiles usage and success rates reports for vendors when requesting grants. 16. Completes special projects as required. 17. Performs other duties as assigned or required. |

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: | 1. Complex Problem Solving – Proficient skills in identifying complex problems and reviewing relatedinformation to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. 2. Good oral and written communication skills. 3. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, E-Mail, and Internet. Physical Requirements and Working Environment: 1. Speech Recognition - Must be able to identify and understand the speech of another person. 2. Speech Clarity - Must be able to speak clearly so others can understand you. 3. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). 4. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis. 5. May be required to work nights or weekends. 6. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing inperformance of job duties. 7. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, and computer keyboards. |

Required Experience: | 1. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience directly related experience. 2. Experience with Access DB, creating queries, and developing customized reports. 3. Office, business, or clinic experience in accounting, or computer related courses. |
Preferred Qualifications: | 1. Experience with dental software and inventory programs. 2. Clear understanding and proficiency in the Triton system and its’ interfacing with the Axium system. 3. Familiar and competent in the content and use of the Life Table information. |
