Subject to Grant Funding?: No  
Essential Job Functions: 1. Assist the Director with activities including, but not limited to: administer and supervise activities in the Visual Arts which relates to public relations, communication, community outreach, fundraising, and prepare promotional materials.

2. Prepare Curriculum for and provide instruction to students in Digital Photography and Visual Arts program, 6-12.

3. Assist students in the visual arts in the preparation of AP Portfolios and in the college admission process.

4. Prepare and supervise students at local, state, regional and national visual arts assessments and contests, as needed.

5. Provide extra help sessions for students in the Visual Arts, as needed.

6. Maintain all equipment and supplies used in the Performing and Visual Arts Department and insure their proper and safe utilization by all constituents.

7. Work with the Performing and Visual Arts Department, as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Superior communication skills including written and oral expression.

Required Certifications/Licensures:  
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major (if required): In field or 12 credits in field
Required Experience: None.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Valid State of Florida Certification Certificate.

2. Master's Degree.

3. One (1) year of successful experience in teaching.
